Client Fun - Makeover Mage

So, I had some fun at the Makeover Mage again. Too bad the game won't let you continue like this. Instead, it brings up the Makeover screen until you set a valid value.

Client Fun - Load Error

This occurred when messing around with the client. Despite what the picture says, you DO NOT need to play from the RuneScape site; there are loaders out there that load the game directly without the need to even visit the homepage.

Client Fun - Invalid Name

Before you ask, this is NOT the message that normally appears when you add an unknown player to the friend/ignore list.

Glitching - Bearded Lady

Jagex apparently has never bothered to fix this glitch even though it was first found with AutoRune. Also, there is two different types of this glitch. A bearded lady created by modifying the client (as shown in this picture) will result in the character being acknowledged by NPC's as female. The ones created with a packet editor will result in the player being referred to as male.

Oh, and you can attempt to create a character without a head, but the game will not let you continue.

Client Fun - Out of Memory

So, after messing around a bit, I got this to pop up. After I got rid of it, the game client suddenly ran at a very low FPS, forcing me to refresh the page. :P

Glitching - Mass Spawning Zombies

The Necromancer is an interesting NPC. When attacked, it spawns a zombie, and does so 7 times before it can be attacked. However, the game developers seems to have allowed the 2 Necromancers located in the tower next to the Fight Arena to share the same "zombie spawned" flag, allowing you to simply spawn 7 zombies on the Necromancer, and without killing any zombies, go to the next floor and kill the other Necromancer.

This allows you to spawn a massive number of zombies at once. There's actually a limit to how much zombies the game can spawn. What happens once you reach the limit? Well, it gets interesting...

Glitching - Thieving the Fight Arena Guards

As you can see in the above picture, there's no option that allows you to pickpocket the guards located near the Fight Arena. However, with the use of a bot, players can somehow allow the game to steal from the normally "unthievable" guards for 30 GP. Interestingly, they could also be attacked, but only by talking to them; using a bot to attack them would bring the "you can't attack that" message.

Btw, I paid 1M GP for someone to test this out, since noone would do so at a lower price. :P

The Low Wall

Apparently, spam clicking the low wall in the Barbarian Agility Course is better EXP than going through the entire course, mainly because there's no chance of failure. Every click gives 5 EXP, and since you can do it every second or so, it gives over 10k EXP/Hr, which is quite a lot in RSC.

Trust Trading

Trust trading in RSC often means to exchange RSC GP for RS2 GP, and vice versa. While it is within the rules of the game, it is risky and can ruin your bank due to scamming. However, due to the huge amount of time needed to aquire large amounts of RSC GP, people like me do this to get ahead of others.

The usual ratio between RSC <=> RS2 GP is 2:1; most likely due to the lack of demand for RSC GP. This, plus the ease at obtaining millions in RS2 means you can become a millionare in RSC in a day. I've always wondered, however, where does all this RSC GP come from.

Drop Party

This took place shortly after I joined RSC. I wasn't even aware of the event; it was just chance that I happened to be fletching nearby. I remembered obtaining piles of GP dropped by the host upstairs. I became a millionare due to this event; something that's not much of a big deal in RS2, but in RSC, it's alot.

Client Fun - Loading Error

Found this picture hidden in the dark corners of my computer. Not exactly sure how I managed to get this picture. Has anyone experienced this before?

The "Wine Trick"

The "Wine Trick" is a method used by pures to obtain Attack experience without gaining any Hits experience. More information could be found here. For most players, it is an incredibly boring thing to do, so most rely on using bots to "wine" for them. Many "legit" players had fun trapping bots behind doors, which, to their annoyance, would be opened by other "non-botters" like me. After all, I needed to get to the bank to withdraw my wine. Yea, I did this legit all the way to level 40 Attack.

My Beginning

This is my account I use to play RSC when I'm a member. The above picture was taken during one of the "reopenings" of RSC, around June 10 2010, which is also the day I first editted the RSC Wiki. I remembered walking around, being a noob; something that's really difficult to experience in RS2 these days. When I first started, I remembered being given ~300k GP by a random player; again, this is something that probably would not happen in RS2 anymore.
